About Us

It began in 1968 in Hamburg-Germany with a tool and mold making shop. The founder and toolmaker Juergen Hass mainly dealt with the production of plastic injection molds for the automotive industry. Since these almost nostalgic times, the tool & die business has grown into an expanding plastics engineering technology company. Tool making and plastics processing are inextricably linked, and our own quick change cartrdrige system has been developed and established.

Our Network

In addition to our own expertise, we have been able to establish an excellent international network over the years. This guarantees the delivery and production of larger tool projects in all quality classes. The headquarter of Jürgen Hass Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Hamburg offers you a central production point and brings in over 50 years of experience!

Today

What is Jürgen Hass Kunststofftechnik GmbH doing today? The mold construction, the production of plastic articles of all kinds from all industries is still the main business field. Many national and international customers are served. The use of CNC-controlled machines and the latest CAD-CAM software is mandatory. Hardly any industrial product today can do without plastic, especially in the areas of the automotive, medical technology, safety industry and electrical engineering.

Planning

Everything happens under one roof here in Oststeinbek near Hamburg. How does Jürgen Hass Kunststofftechnik GmbH implement a classic plastics project? The decreasing life cycles of individual products force designers and developers to take the manufacturer of the injection mold on board at an early stage in time. Together with our designers, we take care of the plastic-compatible design of the article and ensure the product can go into production as efficiently and economically as possible. A professional 3D print proofs the design of the plastic article. The mold structure, the mold bases, can be ordered at a very early stage so that the full focus can be placed on the shaping inserts. The way of production is adapted to the modern machine park, and high precision is the result.

Which Systems are used?

Basically, the structure of any injection mold is identical. Each injection mold consists of two mold halves, a hot side and an ejector side. The cavity inserts, the sprue bush systems, the cores, the ejector elements and the cooling are located in the mold halves.

The nozzle side is the mold half that does not move during production. In most cases, the half-shells of the cavities, also called mold inserts or mold cavities, are incorporated into the mold plate on the nozzle side of the two-platen tools. The components that belong to the sprue system, such as the sprue bushing, mostly in connection with a cold runner distribution system, are also located on the die-side mold plate. The hot runner manifold with hot runner nozzles for producing the molded parts is a further assembly of the nozzle-side mold plate. The tool is attached to the machine mounting plate. It is equipped with an exchangeable centering ring. The nozzle tip dips into the tool through the centering ring and presses against the sprue bushing. For tools with higher tool temperatures, an insulating plate is attached in front of the clamping plate. It prevents heat exchange with the machine-side clamping plate.

Our Services

The following variants are available: Injection molded parts without undercuts – these can be stripped off, peeled off or demolded with ejector pins. Injection molded parts with undercuts are demolded with slides or jaws. Injection molded parts with internal or external threads can either be forcibly demolded, unscrewed with rotating cores or demolded with collapsible cores. Both mold halves have a separately controllable temperature control system that ensures optimal temperature control. The mold temperature depends on the plastic to be processed. All injection molding tools can be divided into three basic modules and their corresponding sub-groups. These are the types of demolding, the sprue technology and the temperature control. The fourth criterion is the selection of the special design. The following injection molds are available from Jürgen Hass Kunststofftechnik:
